Hint: Because My Client Has Always Been the School, Not the Industry.
Schools deserve objective advice, not product pitches.
When school leaders invest in school safety and security, they often face a marketplace filled with technology vendors, product demonstrations, marketing claims, and competing opinions. Determining what truly serves the best interests of students, staff, and the community can be challenging.
That is precisely why independent school security consulting matters.
For more than 40 years, I have deliberately remained independent from school security product manufacturers, technology companies, and vendor affiliations. That independence allows me to evaluate school safety challenges based on evidence, experience, and professional judgment rather than commercial interests.
An effective school safety strategy is rarely defined by a single piece of technology. It is built on leadership, relationships, supervision, emergency preparedness, behavioral threat assessment, staff training, and thoughtful planning. Technology certainly has an important role, but it should support a comprehensive safety program, not drive it.
In today’s increasingly commercialized school security industry, schools deserve advisors whose recommendations are based solely on what is best for their district, not on sponsorships, product sales, or marketing partnerships.
If you’re a superintendent, school board member, principal, safety director, or attorney looking for an objective perspective, I invite you to read my newest page:
